Rouge National Urban Park – this is a project being administered by Natural Resources Canada on behalf of Parks Canada.
Rouge National Urban Park will be Canada’s first National Urban Park when fully established. Located in the GTA, the Park will span some 79 square kilometres, and include portions of the Cities of Toronto, Markham and Pickering and the Township of Uxbridge.
McIntosh Perry Surveying was awarded a contract to provide Legal Survey Services in 2014. Originally for 3 years, this contract has been extended to 2019. The legal surveys for this assignment are required to permit the transfer of lands from various ownerships to Parks Canada to form the exciting new Park.
