This project involved the detailed design for the rehabilitation and/or replacement of five structures at various locations throughout the Town of Caledon. After performing Condition Surveys on the structures, preliminary design reports were generated for each site to assess the preferred strategy for each site using financial analysis. McIntosh Perry recommended replacement work for two bridge and structure concrete repairs for the remaining structures. This detailed design included: Co-coordinating work with environmental agencies and performing Environmental Assessment (MCEE A+ and MCEA B), liaising with Town and stakeholders, performing Hydrologic/Hydraulic Analysis, and Traffic Management. McIntosh Perry also provided contract administration and inspection services during the construction.
