McIntosh Perry provided Detailed Design for the Rehabilitation Design of the five-span AASHTO girder structures at Highway 401, Brock Road (NBL & SBL). The rehabilitation of both structures included semi-integral conversion, bearing replacement, longitudinal joint removal, concrete repairs, barrier waterproofing, paving, and updated illumination for City of Pickering. The project involved highly complex staged construction and traffic control to manage Hwy 407 commuters and Class EA Group C. Two series of stakeholder meetings with OPP, Durham Region, City of Pickering, CNR, GO Transit, Canadian Tire, and the Pickering Smart Centre have taken place.
