Mountain view Housing Co-operative was one of the largest housing co-op in greater Vancouver area. The 900/902 Clarke road 3-storey complex consist of 47 units within 4 wood frame buildings: One of the buildings was burnt down in a tragic accident in 2015. McIntosh Perry was retained by the co-op to oversee the rebuild of the damaged building as a client representative in the insurance claim and as the envelope consultant of the private repair/upgrade work. The scope of work of McIntosh Perry in the rehabilitations of the 900/902 building includes extensive rot repairs at the balcony decks, sheathing, cladding (with rainscreen upgrades), sliding door and window replacements.
