McIntosh Perry provided detailed investigations, tendering documents, construction and contract administration for the foundation wall repairs for Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) at DeMarco Boulevard development, which consists of two blocks of two and three-storey buildings constructed in 1955 located on the northeast corner of Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue West in Toronto.
The work was conducted while the units remained occupied. Tenant coordination with TCHC was paramount to the success of the project. The repaired walls have improved the remaining service life of the buildings as well as mitigating basement water damage through the foundation walls.
