McIntosh Perry is proud to announce that it has won a Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO) Award of Merit Transportation Structural for the Reed Narrows Bridge Microbial Induced Corrosion project. The bridge, located on Highway 71 in Northwestern Ontario, had severe section loss and pitting of the steel piles from Microbial Influenced Corrosion (MIC). All of the remediation work was performed underwater, and you can read more about the project here.
The CEO Awards gala was held virtually this year on May 1st, 2020, and you can watch the ceremony here.
McIntosh Perry wants to thank all of those who worked with us on this project, and especially to the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) for this opportunity. And, a big thank you to the McIntosh Perry team for their outstanding performance on this project!
