Environmental Compliance Audits

Published: May 15, 2013 By: McIntosh Perry

Environmental Compliance Audits are a valuable tool which provides a measure of an organization’s level of compliance with environmental statutes, regulations, standards and local laws.  Environmental Compliance Audits allow an organization to demonstrate due diligence and environmental responsibility.  They allow the organization to predict and respond to environmental challenges.

In conducting Environmental Compliance Audits, McIntosh Perry adheres to the Canada Standards Association’s (CSA) Z-773-03 Environmental Compliance Auditing and CSA Z751-94 Guidelines for Environmental Auditing: Statement of Principles and General Practices documents.

Through the Environmental Compliance Audit, McIntosh Perry will provide a thorough evaluation of the environmental status of your facility.  This will be accomplished through a process that includes a review of facility records, permits and applications; site investigations; interviews with staff; an inventory of process and contaminant discharges; and preparation of a report detailing the level of compliance of your organization.
