McIntosh Perry has experienced staff capable of assisting in the design and analysis of structural engineering projects for small and large scale commercial, residential, industrial, institutional and government buildings. All projects are reviewed in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. McIntosh Perry has extensive experience with various approval agencies throughout the Eastern Ontario Ottawa region ensuring all permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.

Housing
- Structural reviews for new home construction (including log homes)
- Structural reviews for building/home renovations
- Review of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) Systems in new home construction
- Slab on grade design and review including conventional slabs and heated slabs
- Foundation design and review including poured concrete, block wall construction and wood foundations (PWF), as well as underpinning and shoring details
- Retaining walls

- Structural design for new buildings including preparing construction drawings and specification, assisting with tendering and providing site review
- Structural design for building renovations including preparing construction drawings and specification, assisting with tendering and providing site review
- Structural design for foundations of pre-engineered buildings (eg. Butler Buildings)
- Analysis of existing structures to determine load limitations
- Investigation, reporting, preparation of contract documents and contract administration for existing structural components including parking garages and balconies
