McIntosh Perry News
On the afternoon of August 24, 2007 the staff of McIntosh Perry avoided the looming rainshowers and had a perfect day on the golf course. Teams of four were teeing off at the 7th Annual Pat Timmins Memorial Golf Tournament from 1:30 and filled the 18 holes of Lanark’s Timber Run Golf Course until after 6:00. The turnout was so impressive that many teams had to double up. After their hard day’s work, McIntosh Perry golfers enjoyed a catered dinner, presented by the chefs of Timber Run. Karen Hubert, Chris McShane and the Timmins grandchildren presented the following awards…
After a tie-breaking chip & putt, the Winning Team won folding golf chairs, memento key chains, and had their names engraved on the tournament trophy: Matt Steele, Joe Fitzpatrick, Lisa Marshall, and Adam Marshall.
The Most Honest Team won McIntosh Perry golf balls and putting cup: Julie Lyons, Tasha Lynn, Alex Qualizza, and Carol Panke (for the second year in a row - great consistency!).
Ladies Longest Drive: Erica Isenor
Men’s Longest Drive: Kevin Timmins
Ladies Closest to Pin: None
Men’s Closest to Pin: Chris McShane
This golf tournament has been held annually since 2001 in memory of Pat Timmins, who was instrumental in the early success of our company. We were very pleased that members of the Timmins family could join us for the day. We expect to have an even better turnout next summer at the 8th Annual Pat Timmins Memorial Golf Tournament!
