Environmental Engineering
McIntosh Perry provides environmental engineering services ranging from feasibility studies and environmental assessments to detailed site design. Our environmental engineering team, including former senior Ontario Ministry of the Environment engineering staff, is dedicated to providing high quality service in the fields of waste management, water resources, Environmental Assessment (EA), environmental inspection and environmental management. We have extensive experience in the development and operation of municipal and private waste disposal sites, wastewater systems (private and communal) and municipally and privately owned operated drinking water systems in the context of Provincial drinking water regulations. The Environmental Engineering team works closely with our other divisions to provide a complete service package for environmental projects.
Our services include:
- Waste management (WM) facility site design and layout, life analysis and environmental monitoring
- Development & review of monitoring and operational procedures for WM facilities
- Assessment of on-site sewage disposal systems (single-family residential to large-scale
communal systems)
- Design of on-site sewage disposal systems: small and large; public and private
- Assessment & design of drinking water and wastewater treatment systems
- Review and evaluation of operations of water treatment and distribution systems
- Hydraulic modeling of communal water and sewer systems
- Municipal Class Environmental Assessments
- Stormwater quality and quantity management, and nutrient management, such as field spreading
- Providing client assistance during environmental approvals process (water and wastewater)
- Litigation support & mediation and expert advice and review in environmental disputes
