Montreal’s real estate market hit a 10-year high, with total sales increasing eight percent on the island of Montreal and exceeding 20 per cent in five of the city’s boroughs. Montreal even beat out Toronto and Vancouver, the first time since 1998. Condo sales powered most of the growth, with more than 14,000 condos changing hands, a 17 per cent increase from the year before.
